THE PURGE
Calvary Greetings to you. Thank you for always supporting our newsletters. We hope you’ve been encouraged, strengthened and instructed by them.
A. On the 14th of July, I saw a vision that I wouldn’t want to share for some reasons but heard this;
A decree has gone out in the heavens, it’s an order from the One whose throne is the Judgement Seat that holds the balance of time and justice. And here is the order;
“Separate the wheat from the weeds.”
The heavens are moving for that purpose in this season, they are swiftly running to separate impurities from that which is pure.
It’s a time to purge yourself and consecrate yourself, for he that would not purge himself will be purged. Who shall stand His purge?
B. Canada, oh Canada!
May the hands that hold you down be withered away from you, may your heart rejoice in the One who bled for you, and may your ears hear of the tales of the Cross and tingle. May your destiny be fulfilled even if it will take going through the nights of division.
C. Africa, the days of marital bliss seem far and the reality thereof has flown away. Many homes were broken and burned, and many hearts snared and darkened. Where are the homes of the past that were built in pain and the seeds became mighty men?
I saw a mystery. I was lured by a fruit till I fell into a ditch — a ditch between two hard rocks. As I write this, I could still feel the hardness of the rocks. This ditch, I understood to be Africa. Then I heard His voice say to me, “Many Africans have fallen into this ditch of divorce and marital failure because they were deceived.” I could feel the pain in His voice as He continued, “To understand this ditch, you must go back to 1977”. This number remains a mystery to me but then, I saw that a nakedness and sincerity that was strong many centuries ago, in many homes, began to lose its value. Deceit and self-deception are now the order of the day.
This deceit and deception is even brought into the church of God. For I saw a myriad of people who claim to be worshiping God in a church but wore self-deceit and hypocrisy. They disdain everyone who attempts to be sincere and vulnerable with God, they ask that they be thrown out of their midst and churches. But the One before whom all hearts are clear embraces human sincerity and requires that self-deception be purged away.
This deception is why homes suffer but He seeks godly offspring (Malachi 2:13–15).
D. It wouldn’t be out of place to remind Nigerians of the word of God as regards the economic situation of the country. Be encouraged in that God had spoken earlier (you could read our other newsletters). We are still in the birth pang seasons and it’s not getting any better soon. Don’t let anyone lie to you. Instead learn what God has said to us as a means to escape the hardship and put the wisdom to use.
I perceive that Nigeria as a nation, will see more hardship but it’s necessary for the victory that will follow. I see ‘taskmasters’ with uniform increase and increase in pain and labor.
Then as Israel was at the Red Sea, Nigeria will come to her own Red Sea — a place of great challenge, some will run back to Egypt, and some will abandon the seashore and run away. But in the end, the nation will cross. The shaking will purge the weed from the wheat.
